I spent a long time thinking about what non-advertising part of myself I wanted to share with you. The things I enjoy aren't easy to pare down to website form -- like playing the same Chopin piece on the piano until I don't miss a note, practicing pliés in my charming (read: small) New York apartment, or singing with my dad at a restaurant down the street. When I create in this way, I'm not thinking about leaning my iPhone up against a water bottle to digitize the moment. I'm just living in it.

But there is one thing that I don't do for myself at all: sustainability. At Fordham, I led several organizations that sparked real change at both the university and surrounding communities in the Bronx. Now, I'm on the leadership team of Clean Creatives, a movement of advertisers, PR professionals, and their clients cutting ties with fossil fuels.
